Flexible Fares

Air Inuit offers a flexible fare structure to meet the needs of its growing and diverse clientele.

Air Inuit Flex Fare is a flexible one-way Economy (Y) class fare.

  • Reservations can be made at any time.

  • Tickets must be issued within 2 days after reservations are made or on the day of departure, whichever comes first.

  • Changes can be made free of charge.

  • Ticket is refundable free of charge.

Our children fare is based on the Flex Fare.

  • Infants under the age of 2 travel free of charge. One infant per adult passenger is permitted.
  • Children (2 to 11 years old, inclusively) will be charged 50% of the Flex Fare (YCH fare).
  • Unaccompanied children (5 to 11 years old, inclusively) will be charged 50% of the Flex Fare plus an unaccompanied minor supervision fee of $52.50 in Nunavut or $57.49 in Québec all taxes included).

Senior citizens aged 65 and over are entitled to a 50% discount on the Flex Fare. For Ilaujuq issued tickets the discount is applicable for individuals aged 60 and over.

  • A proof of age must be provided (driver’s license, Medicare card, passport, birth certificate or other documentation accepted by the Carrier).

Our Semi-Flex Fare is an Economy (Y) class fare that requires advance reservations and ticketing.

  • Reservations must be made at least 1 day prior to departure.
  • Tickets must be issued within 2 days after reservations are made or on the day of departure, whichever comes first.
  • Waiting list registrations are not permitted.
  • Upgrading to Flex Fare is permitted at a cost of $97.73(QC) / 89.25 (NU) taxes included, as well as fare difference.
  • Changes are permitted at a cost of $97.73(QC) / 89.25 (NU) taxes included.
  • Cancellations and refunds are permitted at a cost of $97.73(QC) / 89.25 (NU) taxes included.
  • One-way travel is permitted.

Air Inuit offers a special discounted fare for honeymooners. Travel must originate from a Nunavik community served by Air Inuit and/or from Sanikiluaq, La Grande, Sept-Îles or Schefferville.

  • A discount of 75% on the Flex Fare.
  • Presentation of a marriage certificate is required.
  • The discount is valid for travel within twelve (12) months of the date of the wedding.
  • Reservations must be confirmed from the point of origin to the point of destination and return to the point of origin.
  • The discount does not apply to one-way travel.
  • Tickets must be issued within 2 days after reservations are made or on the day of departure, whichever comes first.

Air Inuit offers a special discounted fare for passengers who need to travel in times of bereavement.

Passengers travelling on compassionate fares must present the proper authorization form signed by the mayor, band council chief or other authorized representative before tickets can be issued. Please contact your local station to make travel arrangements.

  • In the case of death, a 75% discount on the regular Flex Fare is applicable to attend the funeral.
  • In the case of severe illness, a 75% discount on the regular Flex Fare is applicable for immediate family members and a 50% discount on the regular Flex Fare is applicable to friends or those who are not immediate family members.

This rate is offered jointly with the Ministère des Transports du Québec. The RAAP aims to make air transportation between Quebec's major centers and remote regions more accessible.

  • The discount percentage with this program can reach up to 85% depending on your itinerary. 
  • On our network, the airports of Sept-Îles, Schefferville, La Grande and Kuujjuaraapik are included
  • This fare only applies to personal travel and not for business or work purposes.
  • A maximum of 6 trips (3 round trips) is allowed per passenger, per fiscal year.
  • Changes are permitted at a cost of $97.73(QC) / 89.25 (NU) taxes included.
