Air Inuit introduces free high-speed Wi-Fi onboard its 737-800NG combi

Passengers travelling between Montreal and Kuujjuaq aboard Air Inuit’s newest aircraft can now enjoy free high-speed Wi-Fi during the flight. Equipped with a dedicated Starlink antenna and 3 routers, the 737-800NG combi offers a secure, stable and easily accessible high-speed Wi-Fi service. 

Passengers can choose how to make the most of this connectivity: catching up on emails, staying in touch with family or simply enjoying online content during the flight. The service is accessible from smartphones, tablets and laptops by selecting “Airinuit-internet” in the Wi-Fi menu.

While this offer is currently available exclusively on the 737-800NG combi, our complimentary in-flight entertainment system remains available on our B737-200 and Dash-8 scheduled flights of 30 minutes or more.

Offered in partnership with SpaceX Starlink, this innovation marks an important step in the evolution of onboard services, with Air Inuit becoming the first airline to offer high-speed Wi-Fi in flight in Northern Québec.
